Rinku Ghosh is an actress from India and is also a TV presenter. She was born in West Bengal. She was born on 30th August 1981. Her father was in the Indian Navy and thus was transferred to Kerala. Hence her childhood was spent mostly in Kerala from where she has done her schooling as well. She then headed to Mumbai to complete her college along with trying her luck in modelling. She contested Miss Mumbai beauty contest and won the title in 1996. This opened the doors for the small screen doing a few TV shows getting side and supporting roles. Her break in big screen with the film Jai Maa Durga in Bollywood in 2000. She then got the Telugu movie Raave Naa Chaliya.

She then got a slew of Bollywood movies, which include Tumse Milke Wrong Number, Mumbai Godfather, and Chalak. She then got the chance to enter into Bhojpuri movies, and it started with Tu Hi Mor Balma followed by others like Bidai and Rakhwala. Her first big hit in Bhojpuri films include “Suhagan Bana Da Sajna Hamaar” which was directed by Sunil Sinha.
