Kanagana Ranaut is back in the news and this time for getting three FIRs filed against the lady. As per the recent buzz, the Mumbai Police on Friday have filed three FIRs against the lady. This case emerged after the actress was alleged by the author of ‘Didda: The Warrior Queen of Kashmir’ accusing her of copyright violation for her next film. The FIR was lodged against the lady at Khar Police station along with others like Kamal Kumar Jain, Akshat Ranaut and Rangoli Chandel.
As per Zee News website, Ashish Kaul is the man who translated the book into Hindi called Kashmir Ki Yodhha Rani Didda who was seen alleging in a complaint before the magistrate, which he seemed to have exclusive copyrights to the life of Didda, who happened to be the Princess of Lohar and the Queen of Kashmir. As per the complaint, he has mailed the storyline in an email to Kangana and she was quick to use it as her movie story by announcing it without seeking the permission of Kaul.
The FIR has been registered with the Bandra Metropolitan magistrate under the Indian Penal Code under the sections 405 in criminal breach of trust along with 415 cheating and 120 B Criminal Conspiracy under the copyright act claimed the police official adding the further probe is going on.
