Kamal Haasan is approached to play the lead antagonist in Prabhas-starrer ‘Project K’?

After delivering a blockbuster hit with “Vikram (2022),” Kamal Haasan, a superstar of the Tamil cinema industry, has once again been the talk of the town. According to recent media speculations, Kamal Haasan would most likely play Prabhas’ main adversary in his upcoming sci-fi action film, “Project K,” which is directed by Nag Ashwin. A formal affirmation is still pending, though.

According to a few media rumours, the Vikram star would be paid an incredible 150 crores of rupees for his work on “Project K.” Assuming everything goes according to plan, the actor is expected to spend roughly 20 days filming his scenes for the movie. The most recent revelation from Hindustan Times has finally disclosed the truth behind these claims regarding Haasan’s pay, which went viral on social media and generated a lot of excitement.

According to the story, Kamal was contacted by the Project K producers about playing the antagonist. The film’s producer, however, made it plain that the rumours that the veteran actor had been offered Rs. 150 crore in compensation were untrue.

A source was also quoted by the publication as adding, “Talks have been started with Kamal sir. Even now, nothing has been confirmed by him. We won’t know for sure whether he has accepted the offer for another week or two’.

Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani, who will be seen in important roles, are with them. This sci-fi thriller, supported by Vyjayanthi Movies, was made with an extravagant budget of over Rs 500 crores, making it one of the highest-budget films ever made in Indian cinema. The movie is expected to be released in theatres on 12th January 2024.
