Kalki 2898 AD’ Box Office Day 4: Prabhas’s Film Soars to Rs 500 Crore

Prabhas and director Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has made a significant impact at the box office, grossing Rs 500 crore worldwide in its opening weekend and entering the Rs 300-crore nett club in India. The film, released in multiple languages in 2D and 3D on June 27, has been receiving positive reviews and is expected to surpass Rs 800 crore in its lifetime, according to trade experts.

The production house, Vyjayanthi Movies, shared the official update about ‘Kalki 2898 AD’s’ box office numbers, celebrating the film’s success. Additionally, the movie has set records in North America, becoming the highest-grossing Indian film in its opening weekend, with earnings of $10.5 million (Rs 87 crore approximately).

Director Nag Ashwin expressed gratitude to the audience in the USA for their contribution to the record-breaking numbers. The film had a remarkable first Sunday at the box office, with early trade estimates indicating earnings of Rs 85 crore nett in India on June 30. The total collection of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ in India over four days stands at Rs 302.4 crore nett, with the Telugu version recording an 84.24% occupancy on June 30.
