Kajol and Rekha’s collaborative magazine cover in the same attire shook Bollywood!
The dynamic divas of Bollywood, Kajol, and Rekha managed to make their niche in the Bollywood industry. With their captivating screen presence, they became the most desirable women. Both the actresses never got an opportunity to share the screen space. But when given a chance they shook the industry with their photoshoot back in 1996.
After making her debut in the industry with Bekhudi (1992) our dear bubbly actress Kajol became an overnight star with her 1993 thriller film Baazigar opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Rekha was already a superstar back then. Kajol and Rekha in 1996 teamed up for a photo shoot in a popular entertainment magazine which eventually shooked the audience.
In the photoshoot for the magazine cover, the two actresses were seen in a cozy pose. To note what left the jaw dropped of the audience was both the actress slipped into the same off-shoulder sweater attire.
While the two looked stunning and sensuous in the shoot, it didn’t go down well with their fans.
They faced massive criticism for their steamy photoshoot. But the controversy didn’t affect the divas. During a meeting at Priyanka and Nick Jonas’s wedding reception in 2018 Kajol even joked about posing with Rekha in the same sweater. Which cleared, that she owned it like a boss and did not shy away from her photo shoot.
On the work front, Kajol delivering an array of superhits completed three decades in Bollywood.
