Bold roles in B Town or South Indian films have often created problems for the makers. The same goes for the upcoming film of Kajal Aggarwal called Paris Paris. This has made the censor board act tough on the bold visuals and cuss words used in the film. Now, we see the makers approaching the Revising Committee. The film is the remake of the popular Hindi movie – Queen starring Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao.
The film is title as Paris Paris was all set to release in the screen soon. As they submitted the first copy of the film to the panel of Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), they got the objection from them about the usage of certain cuss words along with the bold visuals, which has been suggested them to keep as mute along with blurring the objectionable visuals. However, the makers are not keen to follow the suggestion of the Censor Board as they feel that the visuals and the cuss words remain an important part of the film and cannot be removed.
This is the reason they have now approached the Revising Committee to get the final clearance from the Censor Board. Ramesh Aravind, who happens to be the director of the film has confirmed this news, by issuing his statement on Microblogging site with his Twitter handle. Well, let’s see what goes next, while you can stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us. Below is the visuals that have been objected by the Censor Board.
