As Akshay Kumar is all geared up for his upcoming release Mission Mangal on the coming Independence Day, there is much news coming on his already another thrilling project that is in the pipeline. Akshay’s next film is slated to be based on the life of Ajit Doval, India’s fifth and current National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of India. Akshay Kumar will be reuniting with director Neeraj Pandey for this biopic film.
Neeraj is currently working on filming ‘Chanakya’ with Ajay Devgn.
Neeraj Pandey has been a common director of Akshay Kumar’s several starrers including- Special 26, Baby and Rustom. Akshay and Neeraj once again joining hands will surely mark a significant development in their professional relationship. As reported, the duo had a fall out after Neeraj Pandey’s Aiyaary was up against Akshay’s Padman in 2018 until the film’s release got delayed. It was due to this conflict that Akshay Kumar’s film Crack had to be called off.
It has been learned that the research and scripting of this Ajit Doval-based biopic story is still in the works and not on an urgent place like Neeraj Pandey and Akshay Kumar’s other projects. Neeraj is currently focusing on his upcoming film, Chanakya starring Ajay Devgn. Akshay also has a number of other projects in his pocket.
