Jug Jugg Jeeyo: A man accuses Karan Johar of stealing his script, shares proof!

After Pakistani Singer, Abrar Ul Haq claimed Karan Johar copied his song Nach Punjaban in his latest film Jug Jugg Jeeyo a man accused the production house of copying his script. Vishal A Singh, a creative executive producer and Chartered Accountant, has accused Dharma Productions of stealing a storyline he shared with them in 2020 for their recent production.

Vishal said in a tweet that he has filed the script titled ‘Bunny Rani’ with the Screenwriting Association in January 2020. A month later, in February 2020, he emailed Dharma Productions about the possibility of co-producing the picture with them, and he received a response from the production house as well. He said that they took his narrative and turned it into Jug Jugg Jeeyo. “Not fair, Karan Johar,” wrote Vishal.

Vishal replied with a screenshot of the email he sent to Dharma Productions on February 17, 2020, and wrote, “An official complaint will follow.”

Dharma Productions’ forthcoming Bollywood film Jug Jugg Jeeyo stars Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor. The film is directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta. With a light touch, the film tackles the serious issue of divorce and separation. The film will be released on June 24.

Jug Jugg Jeeyo, directed by Raj Mehta, will be released next month on June 24. It also includes YouTube star Prajakta Koli and prominent reality show presenter Maniesh Paul, in addition to the four major leads Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor.
