On the 9th day, Aamir Khan’s sports dramedy experienced a remarkable increase of nearly 102% at the box office, with BookMyShow (BMS) sales soaring to unprecedented heights! By the end of the day, the film is expected to achieve another impressive figure at the box office.
Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office BMS Sales
On June 28, the second Saturday, Sitaare Zameen Par recorded a ticket sale of 71.3K by 2 PM, reflecting a 102% increase from the previous day, which saw 35.3K tickets sold. It will be interesting to see if the film can maintain this momentum through the second weekend!
Throughout the day, the film achieved a total ticket sale of 127K from 8 AM to 6 PM, averaging 12K tickets per hour. Impressively, peak hours performed better than the previous week, hinting at the potential for surprising box office numbers.
On its second Saturday, Sitaare Zameen Par recorded an occupancy rate of 25%. By 7 PM, it had already grossed between 7 – 8 crore once again, bringing it closer to the coveted 100 crore mark at the box office. This milestone would be a significant achievement for Aamir Khan, and there is hope that the film will reach hit status as well.
