Alia Bhatt Extends her Support for Kids Suffering from Heart Diseases
Alia Bhatt is one of the popular actresses in B Town who is known to have many faces. She earns a lot and has been part of many acclaimed movies. All thanks to her acting skills, she has been the most desirable actress in the b Town. She is also known to engage herself in different charity activities. The latest one comes in the form of a fundraising event where she was a presence to raise money for the kids suffering from different heart ailments.
As per reports, she was at one of the painting expos which was organised only to raise the money for kids suffering from different heart diseases so that the money could be used for their treatment. While talking about the same, she said that she knows the fact that kids are more positive when compared to adults as to now know the bad or negative thing in any situation. They do not have any negative frame of mind claimed the actress. This is the reason why they are cured faster. She was at the exhibition called ‘Art for the Heart’ at the known hospital – Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children in Mumbai.
She was there to inaugurate the event. While talking on the exhibition she said that she had visited the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the said hospital, which is regarded as the biggest unit in entire Asia and she was proud to hear that. This is the first time when she has become the part of the initiative called ‘Art for the Heart’ which deals with raising money by selling the paintings that can be used to treat the kids with heart issues among the kids.
She was joined by Mumbai’s top pediatric cardiologist from the hospital called Sumitra Venkatesh. She then applauded the doctor and her team at the Wadia Hospital for carrying out such a fantastic job for helping people raise the money that too free of cost. She then said she is proud to be associated with this initiative. Talking about her work, she has a couple of films lined up including Sadak 2, RRR and Bhramastra with Ranbir Kapoor.
