Stree 2 Box Office Day 4: Shraddha Kapoor Film Surges to ₹190 Crore After Blockbuster Sunday

The Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 4 seems to be interesting after getting a blockbuster Sunday for the film. As per the fresh figures for Amar Kaushik’s horror-comedy Stree 2 reveal an impressive Sunday collection, with the film earning an estimated ₹55 crore nett in India. This marks its second-highest single-day collection to date. The film, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, has amassed approximately ₹190.55 crore nett within its first four days of release. On Sunday, the film enjoyed an overall Hindi occupancy of 70.41%, with Bengaluru leading the way at an impressive 84%.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 is a sequel to the 2018 blockbuster Stree, which launched Maddock Films’ horror-comedy universe. The film, which also features Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana, was released in theaters nationwide on August 15, coinciding with Independence Day. By the end of its third day, the film’s net domestic collection stood at ₹145.8 crore. The production house celebrated its success on social media, declaring Stree 2 the “UNDISPUTED STREE of the box office!” and thanking audiences for their support. In Stree 2, the characters from the first film, who previously unraveled the mystery of a female ghost, now face a new threat in the form of a headless ghost named Sarkata.

The film is part of producer Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy universe, which includes titles like Bhediya and Munjya. Kangana Ranaut recently expressed her admiration for Stree 2 and its director, Amar Kaushik, praising the film’s record-breaking success. In her heartfelt note, she emphasized the importance of recognizing directors in the Indian film industry, urging audiences to appreciate their contributions to cinema. Her post included gratitude to Kaushik for delivering an “all-time blockbuster.
