Jitendra Kumar Opens Up About Kissing Ayushmann Khurrana in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan

Jitendra Kumar recently talked about the deleted kissing scene with Sanvikaa in 'Panchayat 4'. The actor shared that Sanvikaa's statement was blown out of proportion.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan generated buzz for its concept, just like any other Ayushmann Khurrana film. His admirers have been gushing about him and his co-star Jitendra Kumar’s on-screen synchronization ever since the teaser was published. However, the kiss between the two stars in the movie was the trailer’s biggest feature. Finally, Jeetu, as he is known, talks about how he got the movie and how he felt when he kissed the “dream Girl” actor.

“When I heard the narration, I realized how simply things were explained to the families in the narrative,” the actor, who made his Bollywood debut in Gone Kesh, stated in a recent interview with Mumbai Mirror. I knew right away that I wanted to be in the movie. Later on, I learned that even Ayushmann had been trying to convince me to join.

Speaking further about Ayushmann, Kumar claims that although he had always loved music, he discovered that he knew nothing about it after meeting Khurrana. He says that when he showed him the Malayalam movie Kumbalangi Nights, the actor was really impressed.

Speaking about the kiss, Jitendra Kumar stated, “Ayushmann put me at ease, even though I’m a shy person. He is really amiable and easy to deal with.

Returning to the movie, Aanand L. Rai and Bhushan Kumar are funding Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, which is scheduled to open in theaters on February 21, 2020. Ayushmann and Jitendra portray a homosexual couple in the movie. The movie also stars Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Maanvi Gagroo, and Manurishi Chaddha in addition to the two actors. The movie will have a special appearance by actress Bhumi Pednekar.
