Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10: Karan Johar gets emotional after Nishant Bhat’s performance on LGBTQIA community
Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 has a slew of well-known participants. Many celebrities, like Rubina Dilaik, Nia Sharma, Niti Taylor, and Faisal Shaikh, have participated in the dancing reality programme. It is evaluated by Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit, and Nora Fatehi. Nishant Bhat of Bigg Boss OTT fame is one of the candidates. He is a professional dancer, and in his most recent act, he devoted his performance to the LGBTQIA+ community. Karan Johar was moved by this.

Nishant Bhat can be seen dancing in the promo video to the song Hamari Adhuri Kahani. It demonstrates how he enjoys dressing up as a girl and how people mock him for it. Both Madhuri Dixit and Karan Johar react emotionally to the footage. While Madhuri Dixit believes that society takes a long time to recognise the LGBTQIA+ population, Karan Johar has experienced feelings of neglect himself. Karan Johar says, “Main numb ho gaya tha kyunki main khud inn galiyon se guzar chuka hun (I have been through this phase in my life where I have been questioned for my choices.”
Karan Johar opened up about his sexual orientation and other issues in his book An Unsuitable Boy. He openly stated that he does not need to shout out his sexual orientation. According to an excerpt from his book, “Everybody knows what my sexual orientation is. I don’t need to scream it out. If I need to spell it out, I won’t only because I live in a country where I could possibly be jailed for saying this. Which is why I Karan Johar will not say the three words that possibly everybody knows about me.”
Meanwhile, in place of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, filmmaker Karan Johar will host the Friday special episode of Bigg Boss 16. During the Weekend ka Vaar episode, Salman is frequently seen conversing with participants, advising them on their game strategy, and calling them out when necessary.
