The B Town actress Rani Mukherji is back in action. After giving some average movies, the lady is all set to make her a comeback with her 2015 film called Mardaani. The film was produced by Aditya Chopra who is also the husband of Rani Mukherjee along with being the key person of Yash Raj Films. Pradeep Sarkar has directed the film, and Rani played the daredevil police officer from Mumbai Crime branch in the prequel. She dealt the case of child trafficking, and in her role of Shivani Shivaji Roy, she worked hard to understand the body language and mannerism of a lady cop by being in touch with a female officer in Mumbai police.
She cracks the case of child trafficking by unveiling the racket giving a tough fight with the leading villain called Tahir Raj Bhasin. The man in negative role was applauded for his work in the film for playing the negative role with great dexterity and professionalism. Yash Raj Films has always given a fair chance to the novices thus giving talents to the industry. Gopi Puthran who wrote the script and story for the film Mardaani is busy jotting down the story for the sequel. He also gave the other film Hichki which was Rani’s come back film and interesting with Mardaani she went on her maternity break.
Rani’s performance in the film Mardaani was liked by the critics and audience the same way. Talking about the sequel, she said that people often ask for the same, and that they will soon get the official announcement from the makers. She also said that Gopi has completed the script and has shared the same to the makers and Rani too has liked it. In fact, she went on saying that she is desperately waiting to start the shoots for the sequel. She then informed that the man in the negative role would be upgraded from Tahir to another actor in B Town. She said the sequel will have a hardcore criminal who has no mercy for mankind.
