As Varun Dhawan is gearing up for his next film Cooli No.1, we see him now in a promotional mode. This will the actor’s second remake with his father after Judwa 2. The film has Sara Ali Khan and the director is David Dhawan. The film is a remake of the classic film Coolie No 1 starring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor in the pivotal roles. As we saw Salman Khan doing her cameo in the film Judwa 2, many felt that Govinda would be seen in the remake as well.
But as per the sources, he has little scope to be seen in the remake. The writer Farhad Samji was seen talking about the film to the media where he talked about the movie. He did not speak anything about having a cameo of Govinda in the movie. He only said that he would have loved to have the star calling it to be an icing on the cake but it did not happen. He said the film is a tribute to the great actor but it does not have him in any role.
Despite having good chemistry with Govinda, Farhad has not got him for the cameo. While David Dhawan the director of the film is of the opinion that no one can replace Govinda for his roles in his films and same goes for Salman Khan for Judwa 2. He said Varun in these films have not copied anyone but has showcased himself in the movies. The film is releasing on 1st May 2020 and the makers have just completed the shoot including the last song Mai to Raste Se Jaa Raha tha in Goa.
