It’s seems that in Bollywood, you have an emerging rein from Pakistani artists. With so many actors, singers and other artists being involved in different roles in Bollywood, another name, which seems to be in making is of Imran Abbas Naqvi. He is a known model and actor from our neighbouring country Pakistan who started his acting career from a family drama called Uraon Jaan in 2003, which got telecasted at Geo TV. Imran enjoys a perfect stardom for his handsome looks and incredible acting skills. Being popular as a chocolate boy in Pakistani drama serials, he has carved his niche into acting apart from being successful in the modelling world. Besides doing a number of TV serials and dramas in Pakistan he also appears in a number of commercial ads.
Wiki – Looking at his early life, he was born and brought up in Islamabad, Pakistan. He did his schooling from his hometown only followed by doing his architectural engineering from National College of Arts popularly known as NCA. Despite being a qualified architect, he never tried his luck out there in this professional since he was involved in modelling during his college days, which brought closer to acting. And talking about his personal life, he is married to his old time friend called Aleena Abbas. However, he was very much popular among his female fans for being the most charming and alluring personality all across Pakistan and even in India. Girls really went crazy about him so when he finally got married to his ladylove, he simply broke countless hearts in his and the neighbouring country. As per his friends, he and his wife Aleena are a perfect made for each other couple.
As said above, his first TV serial in Pakistan was Umrao Jaan aired over GEO TV, since then it was no looking back for him since it soon gave him another social drama called Malaal, which was aired in the channel called Hum TV during 2009 to 2010. Some of his other popular social dramas in Pakistan include Meri Zaat Zarra E Benishan, Vasi, Noor Bano, etc. Later he was seen in other popular programs like Mera Naseeb, Khuda Aur Muhabbat, Akbari Asghari, Main Manto, Dil E Muztar, etc. In a short span of time, he has played a wide range of characters in different serials, which gave him a good launch pad for films as well, not just in Pakistan but also in Bollywood. His performances in various serials have given too many awards in his home country.
His entry into film world was interesting particularly in Bollywood. He turned down three different Bollywood movies in a row including Guzaarish from Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Aashiqui 2 from Mohit Suri and Boss from Anthony D Souza. These rejections were only due to the conflicts he had with his shooting schedule way back in his home country projects. However, finally in 2013, he could enter into his debut movie called Anjuman, which is a romantic drama of a 1966 remake movie with the same title wherein he played a character of a Pakistani with Sara Loren. His first Bollywood movie is Creature of Vikram Bhatt, which is a 3D film opposite to Bipasha Basu. It is in post production phase and would soon hit the theatres. At the same time he is working on two different Bollywood projects called Raqs and Funalu.
