Manoj Bajpayee clears rumors of him walking out of Hrithik Roshan’s The Night Manager Adaptation
Manoj Bajpayee is on cloud nine these days after giving a blockbuster series The Family Man 2. The actor is getting all the praises and love from the fans and critics. Now the actor is set to star in the Netflix film Ray, which is making quite a buzz ever since the makers dropped its trailer. Recently it was also reported that the actor allegedly opted out of the Indian adaptation of The Night Manager.
The actor opened about it in a recent interview with Koimoi. As per the reports Hrithik Roshan has been roped in to play Idris Elba’s role in the Indian adaptation while Manoj Bajpayee was offered to play Hugh Laurie’s role. However, soon after this report, the rumormongers have started mongering that the actor has quit the project due to date issues. Now talking to the news portal Manoj Bajpayee cleared the air saying that he never got the offer.
Talking about opting out of the film Manoj Bajpayee said, “I was never in to be out. So, what can I say. I saw this news coming up, and I said okay ignore it. I have ignored many such news articles in the past and moved on. Let me tell you, the thing is, now with the social media, there are all sorts of news that are coming out. Sometimes these news pieces are out only on hearsay.”
He also went on to say that he gets multiple offers every week but he is not part of all of it, “So, by god’s grace there have been offers since many years. There are number of offers every week. Not that I have agreed to be a part of them, but did I ever speak about it? No. You only speak about the projects that you are part of. So I will only talk about those projects. Not the ones I am not a part of or ones on which somewhere we did not agree creatively. It is just that. Why to talk about something that I am not in? I was never a part of The Night Manager.”
