If you check the latest update on Box Office report, the high action film Commando 2 took a surprisingly great start at the box office on its first day. With a decent start on the first day, the film managed to get a decent boost was expected on the second day, the film managed to get an average collection on the second day. However, the third day seemed better, which seems to have given a decent figure on its first weekend. Although, the film dropped slightly on its second day, the collection on this day tolled to 4.42 crores on Saturday, thus taking its total to 9.57 crores at the box office.
Now talking about the Sunday collection of the film, it went on to score 5.5 giving a decent score at the end of the first weekend. As per reports, the first weekend box office collection tolled to around 15 crores, which was not the figure expected by the makers of the film. This is the second installment in the commando series. The film stars Vidyut Jammwal, Adah Sharma and Esha Gupta in lead roles.
Commando 2 is facing a stiff competition at the multiplexes from the Hollywood release, Logan which is the final film in the Wolverine franchise. Also with the poor reviews and looks like a shallow word of mouth, Commando 2 could have dropped at the box office on its second day itself. All these factors have marred the word of mouth buzz for the film giving a low figure after the first weekend box office collection for Commando 2.
