There is something common in Shah Rukh Khan’s last film Zero and Marjaavaan starring Siddharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh. Yes, you guessed it right, both SRK and Deshmukh played dwarf in it. Riteish is playing a negative role in the film for the first time in his upcoming movie Marjaavaan directed by Milap Zaveri. While the film also has Tara Sutaria, Rakul Preet Singh and Siddharth Malhotra in the lead roles.
The film happens to be a typical masala entertainer movie and we see the star cast promoting the movie in the full swing now. However, amidst all the buzz, we hear that Shah Rukh Khan has helped the makers with the VFX shots particularly the scenes of Deshmukh where he is seen in his vertically shot man like what we have seen in Zero with SRK in similar avatar. SRK has himself shared this news with the media in his recent interviews with a leading newspaper.
SRK has done the same in his film when he did play a dwarf in Zero which was directed by Aanand L Rai. We know Shah Rukh Khan has his own VFX set up in Mumbai and it happens to be the best in the country as far as the advancement of tools and resources are concerned. He has used the same for his earlier films like Fan and Zero and now helping others as well as Ritiesh for his next film called Marjaavan. The film is releasing this Friday and the makers have created a good buzz in the media with a steady promotion.
