Open Letter on Twitter Follows Karan after the Bollywood stars’ drug controversy

imageSoon after the controversial party thrown by the Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar, things are really going difficult for this Kalank producer. Recently, Karan hosted a house party for his close friends and similar to sharing different clicks and pics of every party, he followed in the same on his social media handle but, this time it really made the headlines, altogether for a different reason.

The video posted by Karan on Sunday went viral gaining eye balls as a few politician pointed out that the stars participated in the party were on drugs and in fact appeared the same.

Soon after this controversy hasn’t settled enough, another open letter from an unverified Twitter account has been posted on Twitter for Karan Johar by the name of ‘NotKangana’.
The open letter goes ahead asking some pertinent questions to the famous filmmaker ranging from why the video was shot in the first place to his brazen flaunting of closeness with the stars after a series of flop. The letter even mentioned that India has changed and that people are no longer worshiping stars and celebrities, unquestioningly.
The letter did point out that his video has simply stirred up a controversy and almost ended a career of Hardik Pandya by making him answer controversial questions on his show. The letter also criticizes KJo by stating that he keeps surrounding himself with youth but, fails to understand them.

On July 30, a minister from India political party Shiromani Akali Dal, Majinder Sirsa also shared the same video, calling it ‘Udta Bollywood’.

Sharing the video from the bash, he captioned, “#UDTABollywood — Fiction Vs Reality. Watch how the high and mighty of Bollywood proudly flaunt their drugged state. I raise my voice against #stimulantalluringAbuse by these stars. RT if you too feel disgusted @shahidkapoor @deepikapadukone @arjunk2 @Varun_dvn @karanjohar @vickykaushal09’ While the accused actors are yet to respond, but Congress politician Milind Deora, whose wife was also at the party, tweeted in support of the celebs and the party.”
