Judgemental Hai Kya 1st Day Box Office Collection

Amidst all the buzz, the film Judgemental Hai Kya starring Kangana Ranaut and Rajkumar Rao released today. The film seemed to have high hopes from the audience after Kangi’s previous release Manikarnika. The film has remained in the headlines for various reason, right from changing the title – from Mental Hai Kya to Judgemental Hai Kya, to the ugly spat between Kangana and a senior journalist in Mumbai during the song launching event of the film.

Later Kangana was boycotted by the media till she comes forward and apologizes but nothing of that sort worked out. Now, taking things further, the finally hit the screens and checking the occupancy report, the film enjoyed a decent buzz in the media and the occupancy went to 30 to 40 per cent in the morning show that went on to increase by 60 to 80 per cent. As per reports, the 1st day box office collection for Judgemental Hai Kya reached around 7.25 Crores, which was similar to the expected figures.

The film happens to be a black comedy and a thriller and has been making headlines since the past few days. However, it also faced some amount of competition from films like Super 30, The Lion King and Arjun Patiala to some extent. Hence the collection did not soar to a higher level. However, the film is likely to pick up during the 1st weekend and the collection is likely to cross 25 Crores. Well, let’s see how things would move, but at the moment the film Judgemental Hai Kya seems to have scored well at the box office.
