Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha comes in support of Kartik Aaryan says, ‘I respect his quiet’

For the last couple of months, Kartik Aaryan has been in news for his ouster from Karan Johar’s Dostana 2 alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya. The film has also started shooting in 2019. While this has triggered many debates around the nation recently, filmmaker Anubhav Sinha has taken a stand on social media.

Despite Karan’s film, there have been rumours about the actor’s exit from few other projects. While Kartik chose to remain silent on the same. Anubhav Sinha took to Twitter and applauded Kartik for maintaining a dignified silence and called the “campaign against” the actor “very bloody unfair.”

He wrote, “And by the way… when Producers drop Actors or vice versa they don’t talk about it. It happens all the time. This campaign against Kartik Aaryan seems concerted to me and very bloody unfair. I respect his quiet.”

After Kartik exited from Dostana 2 due to “professional circumstances” or at least the production house call it that. The actor is also rumored to drop out from SRK’s production Freddie. Buzz in the BTown also suggested that the actor has also asked to leave Aanand L Rai’s upcoming film and be replaced with Ayushmann Khurrana. However, soon after the story came out Rai’s production company called it a hoax.

The spokesperson for Colour Yellow said in a statement, “These are baseless rumors. We’ve met Kartik for a different film and we are still talking. We have taken another film altogether to Ayushmann and this is a complete mix up.”

Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan is presently looking forward to the release of Ram Madhvani’s Dhamaka and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
