Toilet Ek Prem Katha to have a special screening in all Haryana villages: Know Why

Ek Toilet new poster

In order to make the villages in Haryana free from the issue of open defecation, the Haryana Development and Panchayats Minister, Mr. OP Dhankar was seen issuing a directions recently to show the film of Akshay Kumar called Toilet: Ek Prem Katha to all the village representatives of the Indian state. As per the news portal, the Minister was seen giving directions to the officers of District Development and Panchayat to arrange a special screening of the movie for all the village sarpanches along with the punches in their respective districts. The minister further added that the decision was taken to counter the menace of open defecation, which seems to be a big issue in rural Haryana.

The film also has Bhumi Pednekar, which seems to promote the Indian government cleanliness campaign called the Swacch Bharat Abhiyan. The film discusses the open defecation issue in the rural India and has been doing a good business with getting 80 scores in its first week. The film is directed by Shree Narayan Singh, which is all set to enter the 100 crore club. Akshay while promoting his film last week was seen speaking about the issue of open defecation calling it a menace that brings in a number of social and medical issues as well.

While talking about the issue, he said that children are the ones who are more affected than anyone as they happen to be vulnerable to a number of diseases. Through my film, I am urging each people of the rural areas to building toilets at their household in order to keep their kids happy and healthy. This is really a big initiative by the government of Haryana to take necessary steps to create the awareness about the issue. The film is playing its key role in bringing the change in the society.
