It’s a big day for the actor Prakash Raj as he celebrates his 56th Birthday today. The actor has come a long way in his career from an established actor in the South Indian films to a celebrated negative man or a villain in the B Town films. The actor has bagged a national award as well for his contribution to films and is known for being versatile in his acting skills. He has a couple of hits in his kitty that makes him great in the South Indian film industry along with the Hindi Cinema as well.

So far the actor has bagged five National Awards along with five Filmfare Awards for his incredible acting skills and giving big-time films in the South in different languages. He has even bagged four Tamil Nadu State Film Awards for playing negative roles in Tamil Films. From giving hits like ‘Ghilli’ to ‘Santhosh Subramaniyam’ he has come a long way in making his name stable in this industry.

His other hits include Abhiyum Naanum directed by Radha Mohan. He won the Tamil Nadu State award for this film along with getting the Filmfare award for his role in this movie. Some of his other South Indian films include OK Kanmani, Kanchivaram, Iruvar, Mozhi and Un Samayal Arayil to name a few, while the B Town films for which he was applauded for his incredible acting in negative roles include Wanted, Dabangg, Singham and Entertainment to name a few.
