Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan is soon going to enter the glitzy world of Bollywood with upcoming film ‘Kedarnath’ directed by Abhishek Kapoor. Sara will debut in Bollywood alongside Sushant Singh Rajput. The team of the film is shooting in Kedarnath for this venture. Before her first film releases on the big screen, Sara has even bagged her next one!

The news update stated that Sara Ali Khan will feature in Anushka Sharma’s production. The untitled flick will be produced under Clean Slate Films owned by Anushka and her brother Karnesh. The movie will be co-produced by KriArj Entertainment. Anushka has acted in all of her production ventures till date and this will be for the first time, some other actress is playing the lead in her project.

A source close to the development revealed “The project will be a social drama. When Anushka, Karnesh, Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor [of KriArj] were scouting for a female lead, they zeroed in on Sara. Prernaa and Arjun have worked with her in ‘Kedarnath’ [co-producers] and they like her dedication. When they narrated the script to Sara, she loved it.”

As per the buzz, the director Abhishek did not want Sara to sign another movie before finishing shooting for ‘Kedarnath’. On this, the source stated “But Sara didn’t agree to that. ‘Kedarnath’s release has been delayed due to the winter in North India, pushing release to end of next year. Sara didn’t wish to wait that long.”

Regarding Sara Ali Khan signing Anushka Sharma’s upcoming production, a source said “Yes, we have had a casual meeting with Sara, but currently we are focusing all our energies on our next release, Pari.”

Sara Ali Khan starrer ‘Kedarnath’ is produced by KriArj Entertainment, T-Series in association with Balaji Motion Pictures.
