Kangana Ranaut’s Thalaivi in Legal trouble as Jayalalithaa’s niece all set to sue makers

THALAIVI FIRST LOOK

As the makers released the first look poster of the film Thalaivi with Kangana Ranaut in the avatar of the former Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa, it went viral on the web getting too much of negative and positive words for the actress. Her sister Rangoli Chandel who is also the social media manager of Kangana came to shield her sister taking the trollers to task by calling them from a Samosa Gang always ready to criticize Kangi.

However, as per the latest buzz, the film seems to be in legal trouble as the Madras High Court has now permitted the niece of the former CM of TN to sue the makers. Deepa who is the late leader’s niece has filed a civil suit in the Madras High Court against the makers of the movie. Now, he is all set to sue the company’s director who is making the film as she finds it objectionable to make a movie on Jayalalithaa’s life.

She has filed the said suit against the movie as well as a web series, which is made on the life of the late veteran leader of the state. Deepa in her affidavit confirmed that neither of the makers of the web series or the film has taken the consent to make the movie and thus they do not have the legal right to make a film on her aunty showcasing the life of Jayalalithaa on the silver screen or the streaming screen. The court has now permitted to sue them. Well, let’s see what goes the next but at the moment things are not rosy for the makers of the film.
