We all Indians love our motherland, and love flows in our blood. No other nation will ever be able to equal the nationalism and patriotism of our country. In reality, many people around the world share our affection for India. more so as a result of Indian film.
When the hero raises the Indian tricolor or an officer issues a command on the border, Bollywood never fails to give us shivers and a feeling of patriotism. We’ve compiled a list of the top patriotic movies to watch on August 15, which is Independence Day.
1) The Legend of Bhagat Singh
We felt proud and introspective after reading Rajkumar Santoshi’s superb portrayal of the tale of the youthful independence fighters Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru who willingly wrapped the noose around their necks.
2) Rang De Basanti
The film’s narrative is based on modern-day Delhi University and explores how things may change if today’s youth were as motivated as those in pre-independent India. It is a fancier way of recounting the story of Bhagat Singh.
3) Border
In J P Dutta’s unrestricted reproduction of the Longhewalla war from 1971, Jackie Bidu supported Sunny Paaji’s use of a bazooka to obliterate the “Dushman Pakistan” forces.
4) Lagaan
A few Indian farmers battled British Army soldiers in a cricket match to defend their farms and crops, as depicted in Ashutosh Gowariker’s seminal movie, which launched him into the spotlight.
5) Swades
The ambitious film by Gowariker featured a settled Indian working for NASA who rediscovers his roots while on a quick trip to track down his childhood nanny and rediscovers his passion for his motherland.
6) The Ghazi Attack
India’s first underwater movie attempted to reenact a submarine battle between the INS Vikrant and Pakistan’s Ghazi, who defeated Pakistan against all the odds.
Believe it or not, every patriotic Indian will always have a particular place in their heart for these 5 films. We hope that Bollywood will consistently create brilliant patriotic films that will make Indians cry, laugh, and feel a great sense of pride.
