Half girlfriend and Hindi medium first weekend box office collection
Finally, with films like Half Girlfriend and Hindi Medium, there seems to have a respite for the Bollywood movie goers after the release of the magna opus. After the sequel was able to entice the audiences to a great extent we have these two films hitting last Friday and since then their first weekend have passed. Time to catch their stories together. Well, how about checking their Box Office collection for the two movies, which are discussed as under.
The past weekend was dominated with two films of different genre one of a love story and other is social based movie made on a glaring issue. Now, let’s talk about the Mohit Suri film called Half Girlfriend. Well, as per reports, the first weekend box office collection for Half Girlfriend tolled to 32 crores. Now checking its budget, the film was made at the budget of around 50 crores, while the film has managed to secure 36 crores from the sale of satellite music and other rights.
On the other hand Hindi Medium too has been made on a controlled budget of 22 crore. With 15 crore already recovered through sales of digital, satellite, music and overseas, the film needs only 14 crore from India theatrical business to break even. The way film is going, the Irrfan Khan Starrer should go past the 20 crore mark soon. However, both the films were be hampered with the sequel of Baahubali that scored a decent amount in this past weekend as well. Do comment on it!
