It was a busy Friday today as three films released on the same day. These certainly include Hacked starring Hina Khan who did her debut in B Town with this. The film dealt with a novel subject, which did garner a good buzz in the media. All thanks to the content and story that helped the film to gain positive reviews. Well, if you look at the occupancy of the movie in the morning shows, it was not less than 15 to 20 per cent, which escalated in the afternoon and evening shows.
With such an occupancy report, the film had an okay business, which one can expect from any film belonging to a novice. As per reports, the 1st day box office collection went to around 1.75 Crores at the box office. The experts feel that the film should garner the buzz around the young generation and the educated ones who have a fair amount of chance to do well at the box office.
Hence with such a buzz and occupancy, the experts feel that the collection would soar in the first weekend. They are expecting Hacked to reach around 7 to 9 Crores at the box office during the first weekend. The film did face tough competition from the Disha Patani and Aditya Roy Kapur starrer film – Malang, which had a better buzz in the media with its high star value and rich content.
