Deepika Padukone has recently been seen in Shakun Batra’s directorial ‘Gehraiyaan‘, and it has been the talk of the town since its release. The movie received mixed responses from the audience. In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actress revealed that Salman Khan had offered her a film but she rejected that film. She also said that if she doesn’t reject it, it would be her first film.
During the interview, when asked about Deepika’s equation with Salman, the Gehraiyaan actress was quick to say, “We have always had a beautiful relationship, and I’d always be grateful to him because he was one of the first people who offered me the film”.
The Gehraiyaan actress also added that Salman was the first person to offer her film but she refused to be a part of it as she was not interested in movies. The actor also mentioned, “I had just started modeling and somebody whom I worked with mentioned it to him”.
Deepika also showed appreciation towards Salman by saying, “He saw potential in me even when I didn’t know I had.”
The Gehraiyaan actress made her Bollywood debut in the Farah Khan directorial movie, Om Shanti Om opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
On the work front, the actress will be seen sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in Siddharth Anand’s directorial movie ‘Pathan’. Salman Khan is all set to make his cameo in ‘Pathan’. Also, SRK will be seen making his cameo in Salman Khan’s Tiger 3.
