Gul Makai 1st Day Box Office Collection

gm box office

The B Town had two movies to release today in the screens. One of these include Gul Makai. However, it went unnoticed on day one and it continues to trend the same way at the box office. Well, it is a biopic based on the Nobel Laureate called Malala with stars like Reem Shaikh, Atul Kulkarni, Divya Dutta, and Mukesh Rishi to name a few. The film comes with low star value along with having a very bad rating by most of the critics.
Some of the critics did not even care to review the film as it was par pathetic and thus remained away from being analyzed. Although it is based on a living legend who had laid an inspiring life also getting the Nobel Prize, the makers failed to impress the audience. Unfortunately, right from the performance to the dull writings to the poor direction and implementation to music and other things, the film failed at all the elements in a big way.
Thus the occupancy in the morning and afternoon shows remained low as 3 to 5 per cent, which did increase in the evening shows reaching 8 to 10 per cent. Also, the screens for the film seemed limited. Well, with such a low and pathetic occupancy report, the collection was obviously low at the box office. As per reports, the 1st-day box office collection for Gul Makai was not even 25 lakhs. The film is likely to remain with similar collection during the first weekend with a little bit of push up getting around 30 to 40 lakhs on first Saturday and Sunday respectively giving not even 1 crore mark for the 1st weekend.
