Last Diwali Week, we saw two movies hitting the screens, which included the fourth series of Golmaal Franchise called Golmaal Again and the Aamir Khan starrer movie called Secret Superstar. Well, let’s talk about these two films starting with the multi-starrer by Rohit Shetty. The movie has already entered into the 100 crore club this Monday itself leaving behind the Aamir Khan starrer movie. Well, the film started with the highest collection of 2017 with 31 crore, while the rest of the two days remained similar over the box office getting equal amount of collection 29 and 30 crores on each days.
As of now, the film has collected some really good figure at the box office. After the end of the first week the film has done a good business. As per reports, the 1st week box office collection for Golmaal Again around 140 crores. The film is likely to maintain its buzz at the box office collecting another 50 crore to end to get the highest collection at the box office. Now, let’s talk about the other film released a day before Golmaal Again on the day of Diwali. The film, Secret Superstar didn’t match up the expectations of any Aamir Khan film.
Though the film was made with an average budget with not much of the money being added here, hence the kind of collection it has made over the box office is more than enough for it. Though it remained overshadowed by Ajay Devgn movie yet it made it mark over the box office. The film had collected around 34.36 crore at the box office till Monday. The film so far has collected a decent collection considering its modest cost of making. It also had limited number of screens and had gained positive reviews but considering the fact that the film had a good story it deserved a higher collection. As per reports, the 1st week box office collection for Secret Superstar netted to around 45 crores.
