For Rohit Shetty, the Golmaal franchise has remained the most happening films in his career. It has been the successful franchise giving him to reach to the new pedestal for the filmmaker who often made action-based films. This introduced the comedy genre for the actor in the film with a bit of action as well. Now, we hear that the director is all set to embark with the fifth film of the franchise. This would, however, kick off once Rohit completes his film Sooryavanshi next year.
The cop drama has Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. While for Golmaal 5, he will be working with Farah Khan. The franchise often called as the ‘mother of entertainer’ is likely to hit next year when Rohit would be free from the cop drama movie. As per reports, after Simmba’s success, Sooryavanshi kicked off and Akshay being an action hero has been roped in for the same. The franchise would now reach to the 5th installment by the end of 2020.
As per reports, the last franchise of Golmaal called Golmaal Again was a bit hit having an interesting star cast in it. The reports also suggest that the makers are likely to take the film to the next level. It has actors like Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles.
