Go Noni Go Premieres at MAMI 2024: Akshay, Twinkle, and Dimple Make Rare Appearance; Akshay Cracks a Joke

Akshay Kumar, along with his wife Twinkle Khanna and mother-in-law Dimple Kapadia, made a rare appearance at the premiere of Go Noni Goat during the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2024. The film, based on Twinkle Khanna’s short story ‘Salaam Noni Appa,’ features Dimple Kapadia in the lead role, with Twinkle serving as producer. Akshay attended the event to support his family, and he wasn’t the only star present; actors Manav Kaul and Rohan Mehra, director Sonal Dabral, and fellow producers Sameer Nair, Atul Kasbekar, and Tanuj Garg were also in attendance.

After the film screening, a brief Q&A session commenced, during which Akshay stole the spotlight without taking the stage. He humorously requested the microphone, eliciting laughter from the audience.As the crowd cheered and applauded, someone quipped about him being awake past his bedtime. Akshay responded, “Hello, it’s my wife’s film. I am supposed to be awake!” He then directed his question to the producer, asking, “When is the next show? I couldn’t watch the film properly because my wife kept nudging me, asking, ‘How is the film? How is the film?’
