Delhi Indie Project Marks 9th Anniversary with a Special Interactive Evening at Adda by Striker
Last night, Delhi Indie Project celebrated their 9th anniversary uniquely and memorably at Adda by Striker in Sector 29, Gurgaon. In a departure from their usual live performances, the band hosted an intimate gathering where they directly engaged with fans, friends, collaborators, and the media.
Typically known for their vibrant stage presence and energetic performances, Delhi Indie Project took a more personal approach for this milestone event, offering guests the rare opportunity for one-on-one interactions. Led by frontman Ashish Chauhan, the band members spent the evening sharing their experiences, reflecting on their journey, and discussing their creative evolution.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashish Chauhan said, “We’re usually seen on stage, performing for crowds, but yesterday was about connecting with the people who’ve been with us throughout this incredible journey. This direct interaction, hearing stories from our fans, and sharing our own, made this celebration truly special for us.”
The event was designed to emphasize the bond between the band and its supporters. Guests enjoyed informal conversations with the members, hearing first-hand about the band’s experiences over the last nine years, which include performing over 800 shows, participating in major festivals like the South Asian Band Festival and Delhi International Arts Fest, and collaborating with acclaimed artists such as Indian Ocean, Parikrama, Euphoria, and Shilpa Rao.
Though there was no live performance at the event, the night was filled with excitement and anticipation for what’s to come. The band hinted at upcoming projects, new music, and future collaborations as they gear up to celebrate their 10th anniversary next year.
