Divyang Thakkar is a known face in Gujarati cinema. He is a versatile artist who is an actor, filmmaker, and writer and is mostly active in Gujarati cinema. He was born and brought up in Mumbai, while his family originally hails from Mundra town based in the Kutch district in Gujarat state. He did his schooling and college in Mumbai and later headed to Whistling Woods to pursue filmmaking and acting. he started his career working in a short film known as Kalapaani in 2011.Â

And since then there has been no looking back for the artist. He then got his next big break as the leading actor in a Gujarati film the following year in 2012. The film was a satirical movie by Kevi Rite Jaish which was directed by Abhishek Jain. The film managed to gain critical and commercial success and he called the movie a”glimmer of hope” for Gujarati cinema. He then worked in Bey Yaar in 2015 as a director and actor. The film was a big hit and gained a good commercial end.

He then was seen in the web content-based show on the OTT platform known as ALTBalaji a web series known as Boygiri in 2017). Now his upcoming projects include a big-budget movie by top budget film Jayeshbhai Jordaar as a director and writer with Ranveer Singh as the lead actor. Talking about his personal life, he is married to Kevi R Jaise who was one of the co-stars in the film Veronica Kalpana-Gautam in 2014.
