The film had a good buzz in the media and critics too have given good reviews for it that has helped the film to garner good reviews for it. Also, the film was promoted nicely and was screened to many top celebrities that had vouched for it. This has given the film a good boost in terms of getting the good buzz in the media. As per reports, the film opened with a good occupancy at most of the places including both in the North and South India.

Since the other film, Thackeray released today only remained for the target audience – the fans and followers of Shiv Sena. In a sense, there was no virtual competition for the film that gave the makers to earn good over the box office. As per reports, the occupancy even touched 100 per cent at most of the places giving an excellent collection at the box office.
