Ranbir Kapoor talks about how he and Alia will be sharing responsibilities after the baby comes
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been making headlines lately, firstly when they got married in a secret wedding and then the two announced the arrival of their first child.
Alia Bhatt recently returned to Mumbai after filming her Hollywood debut Heart Of Stone with Gal Gadot and others from London. While, Ranbir, on the other hand, is preparing for the release of Shamshera.
During the Yash Raj Films promotions, the actor was frequently asked about fatherhood. In one of his TV appearances, he learned how to hold and feed a baby from a TV actress. Breaking stereotypes and prejudices about paternal responsibility, the actor stated that he wants to be as involved in the baby’s upbringing as a mother is.
According to an Indian Express report, Ranbir Kapoor is excited about embracing this new phase in his life and has been discussing it with Alia Bhatt. He stated, “We have been talking about it for some time now, how we’re going share our responsibilities and how we’re going to share our time. We grew up in a generation where our fathers were quite busy with work and were not around us, so more or less we’ve been brought up by our mothers, so we were close to our mothers. I want to have a different dynamic with my children; I want them to be close to me also.”
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt want to dispel a common misconception about pregnancy and parenthood. While the actress recently took to social media to slam publications for asking if she was a parcel that Ranbir had to come and receive, Ranbir added that he doesn’t want Alia to do nothing but sacrifice as a mother. He wants her to continue her professional path and has stated that he will support her. “Alia is a very busy working star in this film industry, and I don’t want her to sacrifice her dreams because she has a child. So we have to somewhere plan out a balanced life where we both can enjoy our personal life and our professional life, so it is one day at a time, one step at a time, but I have a lot of expectations from it,” he added in the interview.4
In terms of upcoming films, Ranbir Kapoor’s Shamshera will see him share screen time for the first time with Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. On July 15, the film will be released. In the coming months, the actor will also be preparing for his first film with his wife and soon-to-be mother Alia Bhatt.
