Game Over Box Office Prediction – Much Depends Upon Word Of Mouth Buzz
Amidst all buzz and media attention, the South Indian film Game Over is releasing today. The film goes with a solo release in the South Indian market along with coming out in languages like Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. Since the release of Bharat no major Bollywood has released and this time we have Anurag Kashyap bringing out the film for the B Town audience. The film happens to be made on an offbeat topic where we see a young lady takes resort in video games.
She has secluded herself in a small space and the plot somewhere resemble the Hollywood content films similar to the one called Phobia starring Radhika Apte. The film had a decent amount of promotion in the media, which include the Hindi version as well. Hence it has a fair amount of chance to get a decent collection overall. However, the buzz seems to be bleak with the presence of Bollywood movie – Bharat. Hence much would depend upon the word of mouth buzz for the film.
As of now, we can expect the Hindi version of Game Over would score not less than 1 crore, while the south Indian versions are likely to get 4-5 crores at the box office. The experts feel that after the first day, the film is likely to have a decent buzz in the media and it will, therefore, give a decent collection in its first weekend.
