The Slumdog Millionaire won several Oscars when it was nominated for several categories.  Freida Pinto had her debut with this film playing the character of Latika. She is the same lady dressed in a yellow outfit just standing at one of the Mumbai suburb’s station. Since then it was no looking back for her. Not many would know as to what she is doing these days, let’s have a look at her transformation since her debut movie in this industry.
Worked as a Model
Before Joining films, she worked as a model. It was in 2005 when she started her modeling career & joined the Elite Model Management India. She had her first fashion shoot by Ryan Martis, the renowned Bollywood photographer.
2007 gave her Slumdog Millionaire. She was called for the audition for this film along with six other models, which went through six months and she finally bagged the role for the film.
Comedy Drama after SM
After Slumdog, she signed a comedy-drama film called You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger by Woody Allen. She worked with Antonio Banderas, Josh Brolin, Anthony Hopkins, Anupam Kher and Naomi Watts.
Featured as World’s Most Beautiful People
She was featured in the popular magazine called People magazine’s annual list of ‘World’s Most Beautiful People’ along with the ‘World’s Best Dressed Women’ in 2009. The very same year we saw her on the Vogue’s list of the ‘Top Ten Most Stylish Women.’
Planet of Apes
Soon she was seen in another Hollywood movie called Planet of Apes a Reboot.
