The forever gambler of Bollywood is certainly Dev Anand. The latest buzz in the B Town is that the late actor has turned today 93, it’s his birthday. He has remained the uncrowned king of Bollywood who has given some of the top films in Bollywood including Hum Dono, Guide and Tere Mere Sapne.
Considering his birthday, his fans and artists closed to him are celebrating this day with fervor and spirit. The actor lost his life in London and his funeral was accomplished in the foreign land as he has loads of fans overseas as well.
The great actor and the legend were born in the pre-partition Gurdaspur in Punjab. He did his graduation in English Honors from Government College, Lahore and with Rs 30 in his pocket, he boarded the Frontier Mail and headed to Bombay.
After some amount of struggle, his debut in Bollywood started with Prabhat Talkies film called Hum Ek Hai released in the year 1946. Soon he turned the king of style, mystery and thriller films. His films like CID, Baazi, Guide a d number of other movies helped him to ride high in success.
