The past Friday had slew of films releasing hailing from different themes and subjects. However, not a single film was able to do better business over the box office. Even the much of the hyped film Banjo failed to turn to impress the audience.
Unfortunately, the film Banjo, which was known to have a good buzz in the media seemed to have gone down the expectation giving a meager collection at the box office. As per reports, the film failed to attract the audience to the theatres and thus can be called as falling flat on the ground this weekend.
As per reports, the first weekend box office report tolled to around 11 crores, which is indeed a meager amount considering the hype and buzz of the film found in the media. On the other side, the films released on the same day including Parches, Days of Tafree and Wah Taj failed to survive over the box office.
As per reports, the first weekend box office collection for Wah Taj tolled to around 2.5 crore over the box office. And the remaining two –Parched and Days of Tafree couldn’t even manage to collect one crore each over the box office. On the other side, the film Pink managed to get a decent run even after entering into the second weekend.
