Film Producer Kulmeet Makkar Passed Away, He Was 60
Two deaths in two days and now we see the third coming in Tinsel Town. Kulmeet Makkar the known film and TV producer is no more, he was 60. He was the CEO of the Film & Television Producers Guild who passed away due to a major heart attack at Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh where he breathed his last. He was at the said location during the nationwide lockdown time which was imposed due to the COVID 19 outbreak. He is survived with his wife, son and a daughter.
The film critic and trade analyst Tarasn Adarsh was quick to share this news on his Twitter handle.

The TV and film Producer was linked with the entertainment domain since past three decades and has worked with top production houses like Reliance Entertainment and Saregama apart from being the founder and CEO of the company Big Music and Home Entertainment. He was also the CEO of the Film and TV Producers Guild. He was actively working in the lockdown to support the daily wage workers found in the film and TV industry. He was able to convince Netflix to contribute $1 million to his trust.
Later, the popular filmmaker Karan Johar also expressed his condolences for the death of the producer by tweeting as under:
