Finally, after waiting for a long time, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter have got a release date. The film was announced last year and it was scheduled to release this September but due to the Covid wave, the film got stuck. Recently, India’s ‘Greek God’ Hrithik Roshan has shared a video on his social media account. The shared video states that Siddharth Anand’s directorial film will be released on 28th September 2022. Not only the date, the video also introduces the cast of the film including Hrithik, Deepika and Anil Kapoor in lead.
The makers of the film, Viacom18 Studios also shared the announcement video and wrote, “Get ready to witness India’s first aerial action franchise, ‘FIGHTER’ in theatres on September 28, 2023.”

Talking about the Fighter, its director Siddharth earlier told BT, “Fighter is my most ambitious film yet and I am glad to have someone with Ajit’s vision and passion to be partnering this film with me. This film is our attempt to create not only the first aerial action franchise in India but also put Indian films on the map for action-loving global theatrical audiences.”
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is currently rolling for the highly awaited film Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham in Spain with the same director Siddharth Anand. On the other hand, Hrithik Roshan has Vikram Vedha along with Saif Ali Khan, and Krrish 4 in his kitty. Hrithik & Deepika coming together has already created enough buzz, the on-screen chemistry between the duo will be worth watching.
