Recent reports confirm that he will star in an exciting new theatrical project alongside actor Ridhi Dogra, marking a highly anticipated collaboration. Fawad Khan and Ridhi Dogra’s New ProjectAccording to Hindustan Times, Fawad Khan and Ridhi Dogra will feature together in a forthcoming romantic comedy-drama. Currently in the early stages of production, many key details are still being finalized. An insider shared, “The two will be cast in a romcom drama; supporting actors are yet to be determined.” The source also mentioned that the paperwork for the film has been completed, confirming that Khan and Dogra will portray romantic interests in the story.While the director’s identity remains a mystery, filming is yet to commence as both actors are engaged in other projects.
“The shoot is expected to begin by the end of this year, with plans to release the film by late next year or early 2026,” the insider noted. Notably, the film will not be shot in India; instead, it will take place in various international locations, including New York and London, aligning with the romcom’s theme.Fawad Khan first made his Bollywood debut in 2014 with Khoobsurat, opposite Sonam Kapoor, a role that earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. In addition to his Bollywood return, Fawad Khan’s film The Legend Of Maula Jatt is set to release in India on October 2. This blockbuster, which also stars Mahira Khan, became the highest-grossing Pakistani film of 2022. However, its release has faced challenges, particularly from Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leaders who have warned theater owners against screening the film, threatening severe consequences if they do. Nevertheless, the film is confirmed to release in Punjab.
