For Salman Khan, one can see two big releases coming this year, starting with Bharat, this Eid and Dabangg 3 lined up in the year-end. In 2020, he has another release called Inshallah opposite Alia Bhatt, which will be releasing next Eid. Besides, he has other projects as well which include Kick 2 and one with Farhan Akhtar. As per the reports, Farhan had visited Salman Khan’s place the Galaxy Apartment and discussed his next venture in detail.

It is not clear whether Farhan would be directing or producing the film but the two are keen on working together claimed the sources. Farhan Akhtar had his project Don 3 but it seems that the project is not working anymore at this stage may be later. Shah Rukh Khan is still to give the nod for the film, while the script for Don 3 is still not ready. Hence the venture is a distant dream at the moment. So, if things between Salman Khan and Farhan Akhtar clicks then it would be fair to say that the Second generation of Salim-Javed duo would be working.

Both their fathers – Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar started their careers in Bollywood at the same time. They had worked together as scriptwriter and lyricists in many movies and their films have worked well at the box office, which includes Sholay in 1975, Deewar the same year and Kranti in 1981 to name a few. After working for a few films, a difference between the two led them to separate and they made their careers reach the zenith working solo. Talking about Farhan, he will be seen in Toofan a film on a boxer directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. The two have worked together for their film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
