Fans trend #ShukriyaSidharth to their favorite actor, Sidharth Shukla, as they find closure in Brahmakumaris lead farewell

At an online prayer meeting on Monday, friends, admirers, and many representatives of the entertainment industry reflected on the death of TV star Sidharth Shukla.

The Brahmakumaris led the prayer meeting, which was held virtually from the late actor’s family home in Mumbai. Sidharth, who had a strong spiritual bent, was a member of the religious group.

Sidharth Shukla frequented the Brahmakumari centre and was last seen there on the day of Raksha Bandhan. Tapaswiniji, a well-known Brahmakumari teacher, had previously stated in a media interview: “He came to our Vile Parle centre and our Yoginiji there tied rakhi on him.”

Rita Shukla, Sidharth Shukla’s mother, is a Brahmakumaris adherent as well. Brahmakumari Yogini Didi led the online prayer meeting on Monday, and Sister Shivani blessed the departed soul.

The news about the prayer meeting was initially revealed by actor Karanvir Bohra. “Let’s all come together today at 5pm for special prayers and blessings for our friend #sidharthshukla organised by his mother #ritaaunty and his sisters #neetu and #preeti and sister #shivanididi @brahmakumaris_bk #seeyouagain on the other side bro.”

Many fans responded to the posts with prayers and emojis of their own. The most prevalent sentiment, accompanied byBrahmakumaris a heart emoji, was “You will always be in our hearts.” The hashtag #ShukriyaSidharth was also trending on Twitter.
