The recently released Shah Rukh Khan starrer film Fan is seen going very much disappointing. Ironically, the SRK starrer film fails to make into the 100 crore club despite the passage of the second weekend. After giving an ordinary 1st weekend collection, King Khan’s upcoming movie remained as low on its second Saturday as well. The movie has collected mere 2.25 on its second Saturday similarly; the story remained somewhat similar on the second weekend Sunday for the film wherein it went a bit up giving around 3.5 crores.
As per the reports, the 2nd weekend box office report for the film Fan tolled to around 80 crores, which is really low as compared to the other SRK films like Happy New Year and Chennai Express. As per reports and the current trend, the film is likely to settle down with the lifetime collection tolling to mere 90 crores. This means SRK, will be rather unfortunate to see his film entering into the 100 crore club. The makers of the movie was expecting to see the film entering into the 100 crore club by the end of the second weekend. However, it’s not worked for them and film continues to secure average collection over the box office.
On the other end, the collection for the film Fan has gone on a decent way. The earning through selling the satellite rights along with the overseas collection has helped the film to float on the water otherwise with such figures at the second weekend collection; the film was likely to sink down inside the water. The film is directed by Maneesh Sharma, while it is produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films having Sayani Gupta, Waluscha De Souza and Shriya Pilgaonkar in supporting roles. Well, not much hopes there for the film in the coming weekdays as well.
