Faisal Khan is no more an unknown name in small screen world. He was born on 30th January 1999 in Mumbai. He came from a poor family as his father was an rickshaw driver. He did his schooling from Meera Academy School in Ghatkopar in Mumbai and later learnt freestyle dance by his teacher Shrikanth Ahire. He started his career as a dancer when he was barely 13 years of age. Soon he gave his audition for a dance reality show called Second Kids Special Season of Zee TV and then for Dance India Dance wherein he was chosen the winner getting a cash prize of one million INR followed by winning a Favorite Shisya Award at Zee Rishtey Awards in 2012.
Faisal Khan then participated in another reality show called Dance Ke Super kids, which he did along with Kruti Mahesh, Prince Gupta Raghav Juyal and others in a group called Yahoo that won the title. He soon got his first TV show at Sony Entertainment called Bharat Ka Veer Putra called Maharana Pratap wherein he played the lead role of Maharana Pratap. His performance received rave reviews giving him two awards – ITAA and ITA awards for his incredible performance. He also appeared in KBC in the makeup of RanaPratap.
He then played the TV shows include India’s Best Dramebaaz giving him the Special Appearance along with Gracy and Aditya in 2013, DID Dance Ka Tashan in the same year working as Himself in the Recurring Contestant, Jhalak DikhhlaJaa – season 7 in the year as Himself under the Special appearance in “Teen Ka Tadka” and the very same year he appeared in CID as Faisal Episodic role and lastly in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa in the season 8. He also participated in a reality show Fear Factor Khatronke Khiladi Kabhi Peeda Kabhi Keedain the Argentina Season 7, which was hosted by ArjunKapoor. He also made his debut in silver screens in Marathi Cinema working in a movie called Prem Kahani wherein he played the character of Rajasthani boy called Baiju.
