Exclusive: Pooja Hegde talks about her chemistry with Prabhas in Radhe Shyam & much more!
‘Radhe Shyam,’ the much-anticipated magnum epic, will shortly be released in theatres around the world. Pooja Hegde was recently interviewed by Cine Talkers. In this conversation, the actress sharing her feelings towards the genre, and much more.
When Pooja Hegde was asked about her excitement for the theatre she said, “I’m so excited. What is the experience of theatre is different. I feel like some films are so meant to be on the big screen like Radhey Shyam. you will see this gonna be like a visual treat in the theater. I’m so happy that theatre occupancy has become 100%”.
Further, she said on the gap of her movie, “The South is giving me so much respect, so much love, so I concentrate on that more. And in between if anything comes as means the reason behind I did Housefull 4 is because the banner was great, it was Nadiadwala sir, it was Akshay, so I am glad I did it, that gave me Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. And if a good Marathi movie came, I gladly do it because it is exciting for me as an artist”
Talking about chemistry between Vikram Aditya and Prerana, Pooja Hegde said, “I feel like chemistry is what God gives. some magic has to happen to chemistry happen, and I am happy that you guys are like our chemistry”. Asking about her wishlist director, Pooja named Rajkumar Hirani, Sanjay Bhansali. She said, “I want to make work with Meghna Gulzar, Vasantwala, Shoojit Sarkar, Zoya Akhtar, I love her films. I really want to work with Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra”
The actress was being asked about How’s it feels like working with superstar Prabhas? it gives any pressure, She expressed, “I was trying not to take the pressure. I give my all to do my character. that’s the way I deal with it”
For the unversed, Prabhas will play the role of a palmist, while Pooja Hegde will play a doctor. Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan lending his voice as the narrator. The film is slated to be released on March 11, 2022, under the banners of UV Creations and T-Series.
